The XDCAM EX PMW-350 is Sony’s first memory-based shoulder-mount camcorder equipped with three 2/3-inch type Exmor™ Full HD CMOS sensors, representing state-of-the-art imaging technology. These sensors, each with 1920 (H) x 1080 (V) effective pixels, provide the camera with excellent F12 sensitivity and an impressive 59 dB signal-to-noise ratio. In addition, the large 2/3-inch sensors can capture images with a shallower depth of field, giving users greater creative freedom. The PMW-350 is studio-configurable and also features timecode input/output, genlock input, HD/SD SDI and HDMI output, as well as a DVCAM recording option. The camera has a compact and ergonomically balanced design, with the main body weighing just over seven pounds, providing a high degree of mobility and comfort in a variety of shooting situations. In addition, thanks to its low center of gravity, it offers excellent stability on the shoulder, and the PMW-350 features an environmentally friendly design thanks to its low power consumption of just 18 watts during recording, with the supplied viewfinder, lens, shotgun microphone, and one SxS card. The PMW-350K model offers customers a lens package, equipped with a 16x zoom HD lens and a standard 2/3-inch bayonet lens mount. The complete Sony XDCAM EX product line delivers impressive HD image quality and efficient nonlinear operation, expanding creative possibilities in all types of HD video production.
